Third Coast Percussion - 'Metamorphosis'

Thursday, November 16 - 7:00 PM

The Vail Series welcomes GRAMMY® Award-winning and Denison’s own Ensemble-in-Residence, Third Coast Percussion.

"One of 2023’s most inspiring cultural events" - Chicago Tribune GRAMMY® Award-winning and Denison’s own Ensemble-in-Residence, Third Coast Percussion, joins forces with the groundbreaking choreography of Movement Art Is (Lil Buck and Jon Boogz), performed and interpreted by Cameron Murphy and Ron Myles, for an intimate, evening program that is both intensely personal and fiercely virtuosic. Two disparate styles of street dance blend seamlessly with "Perspective" by Jlin (2023 Pulitzer Prize-finalist) plus music by Tyondai Braxton and Philip Glass.
