?In 2019 we displayed 300 pair of children's shoes to represent those that are considered homeless by the Newark Schools system and 148 pair of adult shoes representing the adults that were counted in January Pont in time count. There were several pairs of shoes for those that died in previous years from overdose. We anticipate that many families will bring shoes to represent their loved ones again this year. All shoes will be donated to those in need thru the Newark Homeless Outreach and NYAP here locally.
