Maintaining a Healthy Garden

Saturday, May 4 - 9:30 AM

Now that the garden is planted, there are some simple things to be done to maximize production:  mulching, watering, and weed, pest and disease control.  If it is done right, it is not overwhelming or complicated.  The content is geared for beginner and intermediate gardeners, but all gardeners will be able to pick up some tidbit of information to make their own gardens more successful. KEY CONCEPTS that will be covered: diseases & pests – composting – mulching – spacing – watering – weeding.

This class is also offered in Buckeye Lake on a different date. These FREE classes are presented by experienced Licking County Master Gardeners in affiliation with OSU Extension in Newark.
