The holidays can be stressful for anyone, but caregivers dealing with individuals with Alzheimer’s may experience added holiday stress due to the lack of understanding among family and friends that visit during the holidays.
During this class we will be discussing Christmas activities to engage your loved one, gift giving tips for people with memory loss and their caregiver, long distance caregiving and holiday tips to ease the stress of the holiday season.
All are welcome but reservations for the class are requested. Please call the Carol Strawn Center to make your reservation at (740) 345-5190.
Cost: Free for Licking County residents age 60 or older. Donations are appreciated from non Licking-County residents and those under age 60.
Specializing in adult day service for people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia's, the Carol Strawn Center is funded by donors, program fees, the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging, the Licking County Senior Citizens Levy and the United Way of Licking County.
