The seed starting portion of this class covers: selecting seeds – preparing soil for starting seeds indoors – using info on seed packets – demo of homemade “grow light” – actually starting seeds in class. The planting/harvesting part of class focuses on WHAT can be planted outdoors, WHEN, and HOW for Spring, Summer, or Fall crops as well as knowing when to harvest different types of veggies. Gardening Class #3 is also available in Heath on a different date.
