Lovers of vintage, handcrafted glass will find a sparkling selection of collectable table glass at the free Annual Glass Show and Sale sponsored by Heisey Collectors of America, which owns and operates the National Heisey Glass Museum in Newark.
The event features national dealers selling fine, vintage, American-made glassware including stemware, barware, bowls, vases, candlesticks and more. While the show focuses on glass made in Newark by A.H. Heisey & Company between 1896 and 1957, it will also include glass from other manufacturers.
A highlight of the glass show will be a showcase of displays of creative table settings on the theme, In the Heisey Garden. Table setting designers will be on hand Friday at 1 p.m. to explain the choices of china, glassware and accessories that went into their displays.
