Alex is a tough small-town girl with big dreams. A steel worker by day and an exotic dancer by night, Alex is afraid of nothing and knows how to take care of herself. Alex dreams of being a serious dancer, but she thinks that may be just out of reach for a girl like her. When the auditions for Shipley’s Ballet Academy are within her grasp, Alex will have to find her courage and give it her all. A feel-good musical based on the 1983 film, it features 80’s hits like “Maniac,” “What A Feelin’,” Manhunt,” “Gloria,” and “I Love Rock’n Roll.”
