FAMILY ADVENTURES: LET’S FLY A KITE!

Spend a fun afternoon flying kites at the arena area of Infirmary Mound Park! Drop in for a little bit or stay the whole time!

For some kiting is a hobby! For others kiting is an active, passionate sport. From an educational perspective, kites are great for learning about a variety of subjects from creative uses of graphics and colors to physics and aerodynamics.

Kites will be available to try and you are welcome to bring your own!  Kite Kits will also be available to put together, color, and fly! Please register if you want a kit.
