The Denison Fringe Festival presents “Too Cold to Swim,” an original play by Denison senior Casey Parker.
What is a swimming pool without water? Can friends be friends if they’re not even…friendly? Which kind of chip is best: potato or tortilla? These are just a few of the questions that Parker’s Fringe piece hopes to answer. A coming-of-age story for the ages, “Too Cold to Swim” deals with themes of love, loss, and what it all means in the end.
Denison University’s Fringe Festival, modeled after Edinburgh’s legendary festival, takes place from April 18 to May 3, with a series of diverse original performances by students and faculty, guests, and student organizations in locations across the campus.
