The “For Your Health” 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile Fun Walk will be held virtually on Saturday, July 24. The virtual racing experience will be provided by Real-Time Remote Racing, and participants will race remotely on their favorite local routes, while competing with others in the same event at the same time. GPS speed and distance are used to place each runner/walker on a common event course, enabling them to track their own position, and that of all other racers. Participants will simply download the RTRT app, and during the week of the race, receive an emailed link to connect their registration to the race. Additionally, The Dawes Arboretum will offer participants the option of completing the race onsite if desired. Interested runners and walkers can sign up for a time slot on Sunday, July 25 through Wednesday, July 28, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. This will allow up to 400 participants access to Dawes. A sign-up link is available upon completion of event registration. A pre-recorded event premier video will be streamed on the morning of Saturday, July 24, at the regular race start time of 8:30 a.m. Visit LMHealth.org for the video link on race day. Please register for all events online at racepenguin.com/events/foryourhealth. For questions, contact the LMH Development Office at (220) 564-4102. The “For Your Health” 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile Fun Walk is sponsored by The Dawes Arboretum, The Buckeye Valley Family YMCA, Licking Memorial Hospital Development Council and Park National Bank.
