"For Your Health" 5K Run/Walk

The 2024 “For Your Health” 5K Run/Walk & 1-mile Fun Walk will take place at The Dawes Arboretum on Saturday, July 20. Participants may choose to run or walk the 5K course, or enjoy the 1-mile Fun Walk. The 5K begins at 8:00 a.m., and the walk starts thereafter.
Registration for runners and walkers with timing chips is $15, if received by July 12 at 5:00 p.m., and $20 thereafter. There is no fee for the 1-mile Fun Walk, or for participants who are not timed; however, registration is required. Registrations received by July 12 are eligible for packet pick-up on Friday, July 19, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., in the Licking Memorial Hospital (LMH) First Floor Conference Rooms. All others may pick up packets at the event. Participants also may register on the morning of the race, between 7:00 and 7:45 a.m.
Registration opens on Monday, April 1.

Licking Memorial Health Systems Exists to Improve the Health of the Community. The objective of the “For Your Health” 5K Run/Walk & 1-mile Fun Walk is to offer a community event that encourages a healthy lifestyle for people of all ages.
The 5K will run in the traditional direction, and self-seeded starting corrals based on estimated finish times will be available. Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Males and Females Overall, and Top 3 Males and Females in each age division. All participants who cross the finish line will receive a participation medal. The Licking Memorial Hospital Development Council partners with The Dawes Arboretum, The Buckeye Valley Family YMCA, and Park National Bank to present the “For Your Health” 5K Run/Walk & 1-mile Fun Walk. This family event is held each year during the summer, and everyone is invited to attend. The event is not a fundraiser.
