Description: CYNTHIA ENLOE TO SPEAK AT DENISON GRANVILLE—Cynthia Enloe, one of the most renowned feminist writers of the 20th century, will speak on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 4:30 p.m. in the Burton D. Morgan Center Lecture Hall (150 Ridge Road). Enloe is the spring keynote speaker, and her lecture is free and open to the public. Enloe's influential publications include “The Curious Feminist” and “Bananas, Beaches, and Bases,” which have contributed to the current understanding of gender roles and the issues facing women today. Enloe's written works primarily focus on women's labor and wage ratios and how these factors affect women in economic markets, world conflicts, and power politics. Enloe has been invited to countries such as Japan, Korea, Turkey, Canada and Great Britain to lecture on feminism. She has been featured on National Public Radio and the BBC, serves as the editor for the “International Feminist Journal of Politics” and has written nine books. Enloe earned a Ph. D. in political science at the University of California, Berkeley, and she serves as a professor in the department of international development, community, environment and chair of the women's studies program at Clark University, Worcester. ### CALENDAR LISTING, Denison University, Granville— Spring keynote speaker Cynthia Enloe, 4:30 p.m., Weds., Feb. 27, Burton D.
