Description:

Taught by Equity actress and Denison University adjunct professor Wendy Barrie Wilson, this is a class for the high school student who is serious about acting and a theatre career. It is not enough to just memorize lines and go where a director tells you. An actor’s job is to determine who a character is, what he wants, and what is preventing him from getting it. Students will explore how an actor makes "choices" that reveal a character, in order to develop a more interesting and fully realized performance.
