The next meeting of Licking County Chapter 310 of the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees will be at the Buckingham House in Veteran’s Park on the corner of West Main Street and 6th Street in Newark at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 9th. The meal cost is $10.50 per person which includes tax and gratuity. The meal is catered so reservations are a must and when you make reservations you will be expected to pay. The meal at the meeting will be Italian herb chicken, augratin potatoes, broccoli/cauliflower, dessert, and beverage. The program for the day will be presented by Mr. John Cooper who will explain and entertain with his bagpipe. To make reservations call Nello Allori at 740-522-2306 or Nancy Hunt at 740-745-2057. During the business session there will be a briefing on what our law makers are doing at the state and federal level that affect active and retired federal employees, an update on involvement by the NARFE Political Action Committee (PAC), Chapter 310’s involvement in Alzheimer Research, membership status, and a report on travel opportunities for Chapter 310 members. All retired and current federal employees are encouraged to attend. Other interested community members are also invited. Meetings are always held on the second Tuesday of each month.
