Tony Award Winning Musical "Into The Woods" presented at Weathervane Playhouse
Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Little Red Riding Hood are all leaping out of the storybooks and on to the Weathervane stage for "Into the Woods," a crazy mixed-up fairy tale that tackles the question: What happens AFTER ‘Happily ever After’? Handsome princes, an evil witch, and all of your favorite princesses intermingle in this story of growing up.
Performances are Thursday July 2 and Friday July 3 at 8p.m, with a Special Holiday performance on Saturday July 4 at 7p.m. Special Discount performance on Tuesday July 7 at 8p.m. and Wednesday July 8 through Saturday July 11 at 8p.m. All performances take place at the Weathervane Playhouse 100 Price Rd. Directed by Managing Artistic Director, Matthew Trombetta, this Tony Award winning musical by Stephen Sondheim is a classic piece that features all of your Weathervane favorites: Morgan McCann, 2008 Theatre Roundtable Award-winner will portray Cinderella’s Prince. Granville’s Samantha Mastrian and Belinda Paisley will play Rapunzel and Jack’s Mother, respectively. Kristin Flaglor of Columbus will slip into the glass slippers as Cinderella. Sarah Michalski, known for her feline and fowl roles in HONK! will play the Witch. Weathervane veteran Dennis Kohler will also make his 87th appearance as the Narrator.
